Roadblocks

Driving home last night was a nightmare.
I encountered roadblock after roadblock.
My instinct was to go to the GPS to tell me the best route to take.
That wasn't helpful either.
It just kept searching for signals.

Almost every turn I made... blocked.
But I was determined to get home.
In fact, there was no way I wasn't going to get home.
What would be the other option? Pull over and cry in the car?

What do we do when we encounter student roadblocks?
Sometimes, it's as simple as taking a side road and going around.
But what about when we hit roadblock after roadblock.
What happens when our General Protocol for Students (GPS) stops sending signals?
Do we pull over and blame the roadblock for our inability to arrive at our intended destination?

Don't pull over just before you find your way.
That student needs you to keep going.
Don't give up on them.
